We are honoured and proud to have our association headquartered at the heart of an airport that has played such an integral role in the development of business, general and commercial aviation in Ireland for more than 75 years.

As Ireland’s second-largest airport, Shannon is a vital asset to the region and acts as the premier gateway for all passengers, business and commercial, travelling in and out of the West of Ireland. Situated on the banks of the Shannon Estuary in County Clare, Shannon Airport is centrally located and close to the cities of Limerick, Galway and Cork – important Irish business and tourism hubs.

With almost 50% of Ireland’s Foreign Direct Investment located in the greater Shannon area, the airport serves as a global connection point for MNCs operating in sectors such as aerospace, software, engineering, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and electronics. Shannon is also home to a large network of SMEs, providing support and auxiliary services to MNCs in the region.
